Support Womb Wellness, Hormone Balance & Cycle Regulation with Self-Acupressure

Hormonal shifts, cycle changes, and feelings of stagnation or disconnection in the womb can leave you looking for gentle ways to reconnect with your body and support your wellbeing. Self-acupressure offers a simple, accessible way to work with energy flow at home, using your own hands to stimulate acupressure points rather than needles. In this guided practice, Dr. Sarah Rothman, Breathwork Facilitator and Naturopathic Doctor, introduces several of her favorite acupressure points for the womb and ovaries, inviting you to explore breath, touch, awareness, and intentional pressure as tools for self-care and womb connection.

Disclaimer: If you are recovering from an injury, pregnant, postnatal, nursing or elderly, or have recurring or chronic pain, or any circumstance, consult your doctor for approval concerning your voluntary participation. Instructions provided on the Gaia Goddess Lifestyle platform and elsewhere are in no way intended as a substitute for medical advice. Participation is done at your own risk.

Exploring Self-Acupressure for Womb & Ovarian Wellness

Acupressure is a traditional Chinese medicine modality that works with specific points along the body’s meridians and channels through direct pressure, massage, or tapping. In this practice, you’ll be guided through several acupressure points and learn how to identify each point using your own body measurements, apply steady and comfortable pressure, and incorporate breath and mindful attention throughout the practice.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The connection between acupressure and energy flow
  • How warmth can support the practice and encourage relaxation
  • The traditional Chinese medicine concept of stagnation
  • How different types of stimulation can be used during acupressure
  • How acupressure can be incorporated into a personal self-care routine
  • How to close your practice with breath, reflection, and intentional connection

Self-Acupressure for Womb Wellness

Self-acupressure provides an accessible way to bring intentional touch and awareness into your daily self-care practice. In the traditional Chinese medicine framework presented in this class, stimulating specific points is used to encourage energy flow and support areas associated with the womb, ovaries, cycles, hormones, sleep, and grounding.

Benefits Include:

  • Supports awareness and connection with the womb and ovaries
  • Encourages energy flow through the body’s meridians
  • Supports traditional Chinese medicine approaches to hormone balance
  • Supports cycle awareness and regulation
  • Encourages grounding and nourishment through the body’s yin energy
  • May support relaxation and restful sleep
  • Provides a simple, needle-free approach to acupressure
  • Creates space for intentional self-care and body awareness
Encourages connection between breath, touch, energy, and the body
  • Offers a ritual for nourishing and reconnecting with the womb space

Important note: This practice is not recommended during pregnancy, as several of the acupressure points demonstrated are contraindicated during pregnancy.
