Cycle-Related Rage & Irritability: Understanding Anger as a Message

Led by Tantric Yoga Teacher & PMDD Coach, Amy Sergeant, this practice supports you in learning to navigate cycle-related irritability, anger, and rage, especially if you struggle with internal irritation, overwhelm, emotional outbursts, or reactions that feel out of proportion to what’s happening around you. If you’ve felt silenced, learned to push your anger down, experienced shame after expressing it, or noticed your anger intensify during certain phases of your cycle, this space is for you. Through body awareness, movement, journaling, and guided visualization, you’ll begin to understand where your anger is coming from, honor your boundaries and unmet needs, and learn how to communicate from your anger in healthy, empowered ways, rather than acting it out or turning it inward.

Disclaimer: If you are recovering from an injury, pregnant, postnatal, nursing or elderly, or have recurring or chronic pain, or any circumstance, consult your doctor for approval concerning your voluntary participation. Instructions provided on the Gaia Goddess Lifestyle platform and elsewhere are in no way intended as a substitute for medical advice. Participation is done at your own risk.

Healing Anger Through Somatic Awareness

Somatic experiencing, nervous system regulation, and guided visualization support you in understanding anger as an instinctive, protective response connected to your boundaries, autonomy, and unmet needs. Through breath awareness, movement to release stored physiological charge, inner-child and parts-based dialogue, and reflective journaling, you’re guided to meet your anger with compassion, reduce shame, and build a healthier relationship with this emotion.

What Tools Can Help Women Turn Anger Into Empowerment?

An integrative, body-based approach allows you to explore anger in a safe and grounded way while uncovering what it is truly signaling your boundaries, unmet needs, and desire for autonomy. Rather than suppressing or fearing your anger, you learn to process it through your body, release stored tension, and move through shame with greater self-compassion. As emotional awareness and nervous system regulation strengthen, anger becomes a source of clarity, confidence, and empowered communication.
