The Practice of Sun Salutations

Sun Salutations are a vinyasa sequence that coordinates breath with movement through a series of yoga postures. Surya Namaskar A follows a simple rhythm of one breath to one movement, while Surya Namaskar B incorporates additional movements, including Chair Pose and Warrior One. The sequences can be practiced with modifications or more advanced variations and offer an opportunity to develop a fluid, breath-led practice.
